It was our first camping experience. We rented a bell tent from this place including all equipment as we didn't want to buy until we know how it would be.
It was a fantastic experience and we fee like we should do this again..
The tent was massive with loads of space and it included everything one would need for camping including the slippers. June -the owner and other staff were very kind friendly and helpful.
The toilets and showers were clean and there was drinking water available on site. There was also a cantering van onsite

There are plenty of stuff to do in that area with in 10 miles, as well.

A very happy customer , and thank you June and her team for making this a great experience for us

Everything on the website is true👍. Great natural space (we heard the owls every night), very quiet, trees that give you shadow, and 5 minutes walk to the shop! June is a lovely woman, that loves the country and her cows. For people who like a natural way of camping it is a very good place to stay!

We love this campsite. June makes everyone feel so welcome. During our visit someone had a complaint about the next door neighbours playing amplified music and it was very quickly and sensitively dealt with. June is one of a kind and a brilliant campsite host. She's often onsite which is great. Also love the bloke who is responsible for the toilets and the wood always being around. Can't praise it enough.

What a weekend. Brilliant host. Campsite exactly how it should be. Low key and simple but clean and well looked after. Lots of space for kids to play. Educational trip to the farm. Loved it. Will definitely be back. Great location.

Thankyou June and Simon for a wonderful 5 days, you both worked hard and looked after us all.
My partner james, Lola (Dog) and I had a wonderful time, weather was wonderful, toilets and showers were always being cleaned, everyone was friendly, fellow campers would always chat when passing, was lovely watching and seeing the kids playing in the long grass, big bonus was enjoying watching the sunset with the fire going and a chilled glass of wine.
Booked to return in August around bank holiday.
See you soon ❤

Had a fantastic stay for 3 nights. June and Simon were brilliant and genuinely welcoming. Great set up. Well stocked facilities and a nice hot shower! Really loved how we were able to stay in the adult only field - made our stay a bit more enjoyable and also meant there is something for everyone. Will definitely be returning, next time with more people! Thankyou so much June smile

We had a lovely time at this campsite. June found room for us although we booked late and only stayed one night as it was our first try at camping with small children. The kids loved the meadow in the centre of the field, and spent ages playing hide and seek in the long wavy grass, throwing frisbies and collecting different grasses. The facilities are basic but clean, and June or her assistant were always on hand to help with any queries. We had a great time.

This site could not be more fab. We have done quite a lot of camping and this is perfect for us.

No cars on the site except for unloading is excellent. It make it nice and safe for kids running around.

It is well organised, peaceful. Facities are what you'd expect for camping and well maintained. There is nothing they could do better!

What a fantastic campsite, such a lovely warm and friendly atmosphere!

Great points:
Very friendly staff
Quiet site
Large pitch
Huge area for the kids to run and play in
Really warm shower!!
Clean toilets with toilet roll
Safe space as cars are in a separate field
Great to have a proper camp fire on the ground
Lots of lovely wildlife, we even saw bats over the pond!!

Will definitely be back!!

June, the owner, was very helpful through the bookings process and dealt with enquiries quickly. She met us on arrival and showed us to our pitch. All of the pitches were by far the biggest I have used on any campsite. They came with their own fire pits to use. The pitches being around the edge of a field gave us a feeling of space as the field was very big. June was regularly out and about talking to the campers to ensure all was ok. The facilities, as advertised, were basic but kept clean. Having someone living on the campsite was also useful as he was able to sell logs etc when needed as well as answer general enquiries. We would definitely recommend this site.

We had a lovely few days camping here. June and her family couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. The pitches are very spacious and the open field in the middle gives the site a lovely clear space. June took time out to show us the horses and the Sunday morning trip across the field to see one of their cows being milked was fascinating. We loved it all and will definitely be back next year.

Great site with good facilitiesLiked: We had a great few days at Oakfield Farm. The owner came to meet us as we arrived and had kindly put us next to an empty pitch so we had a bit more room - although the pitches were all a good size already. Whilst the facilities are basic - toilets and showers - they are well kept and plentiful. There is a guy on site selling logs & kindling for campfires and also free milk from the farm's cow! Meat & eggs can also be bought.

There is a fabulous large open space in the centre of the site for the kids to play.

The site was not too busy whilst we were there so we had plenty of room.

Very close to lots of attractions. Our kids particularly liked Knockhatch Adventure Park, which is around 10 minutes away

Great back to basics site, very friendly staff.Liked: Quiet site, large pitch, great to have a proper camp fire on the ground.
Owner could not have been more friendly. Simon who supplied our firewood was also able to charge our phones. Great that cars are allowed to drop off and pick up but kept in a separate part. Meant the site was very safe for children.
Facilities were basic but clean and functional. A "proper" camp site. Will come again.

Brilliant little site, everything you need to enjoy a weekend outdoorsLoved having the free fresh milk offered, very yummy!
Camp fires allowed was a big factor for choosing this campsite, however the night we wanted to do so it rained. Hopefully next time we come that won't happen.

Stayed for 2 nights with group of friends and our dog. Great location - easy to reach from London and lots of great walking and lovely pubs in easy reach of the site. Map of the local area from June was very appreciated and well used. Quiet site with lots of space, toilets and showers basic but did the job and there were no queues. Very enjoyable stay, would definitely recommend.

We had a great few days at the campsite. We were made very welcome by June on our arrival and were given a great plot with lots of space. Facilities are very clean and well kept - nice hot showers! Great to have such a large area for the kids to play in the middle of the field, they had a ball!

Liked: A good campsite and as described on the website. Toilets were kept clean at all times and 3 showers were available which did the job. We loved the campfire and the open space in the middle in which the kids made friends and played games until it was dark and then came to the campfire to toast marshmallows! June was incredibly welcoming and came round regularly for a chat and to check all was well. Really enjoyed the cow milking and pigs on the Sunday morning. A real eye opener. We had clear skies at night which were amazing and because there is little light pollution we saw a huge number of stars.

We stayed in the log cabin a few weeks ago and it was perfect. The cabin is a real home from home, kitted out with everything you will need. The kitchen equipment was comprehensive and we loved cooking on the bbq and gas stove in the evenings. We spent the evenings cooking marshmallows over a fire and star gazing whilst listening to the horses in the next field. A very relaxing, cosy weekend in the cabin and June and Nick were welcoming and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Oakfield Farm. The perfect get away from the stresses of modern life. Children allowed to run free in the field as there were no cars to worry about. Made to feel very welcome by the lovely June - thanks for a brilliant few days.
